Northwest Recognized by Ryan Companies

Northwest was recognized by Ryan Companies as this year’s recipient of the Scott Beron Safe Subcontractor of the Year Award. Some of our recent projects with Ryan include Altorfer Caterpillar in Cedar Rapids, Mercy Heart, Iowa Clinic Kettlestone, Food Bank of Iowa, Chapman Warehouse, Travero, Market District, Federal Courthouse, Des Moines Industrial and numerous projects at John Deere. These projects include work performed by Steel, Rebar and Industrial.

The award is presented to the subcontractor who exemplifies:

• A positive attitude toward safety with total project participation
• Compliance with Ryan standards and OSHA regulations
• An up-to-date safety program with solid enforcement
• Creative solutions for safe work practices
• Actions that promote an injury-free site

A photo of the plaque is attached, Ryan Companies also made a donation to Variety – the children’s charity in honor of Northwest.

Receiving this award over all the other subcontractors that Ryan works with each year is very significant. Thank you all for your dedication to your personal safety and your commitment to doing the right thing for Northwest and our customers.
